The Prestige I like what he tried to do with the Interstellar finale, but I didn't love how it was executed. Inception was solid, Memento was clever. I'd like to say TDK had a fantastic ending, but TDKR was so terrible that it ruined the ending to TDK. "So we'll hunt him, because he can take it. He's a silent guardian, a watchful protector; A dark knight." And the guy apparently immediately retires and goes into hiding. The ending to TDK makes absolutely no sense when put into context of TDKR. TDKR is complete nonsense from start to finish, which why I pretend TDKR never happened. Prestige is underlooked a lot for some reason but it's a solid ending that comes full circle by recalling the exposition by Michael Caine at the very start. And it all plays neatly into the movies themes of magic and deception.
Interstellar Im still undecided as my opinion changes on the ending everytime I see it. Not sure whether to feel content or downbeat.
