Then Nolan has to throw in that one shot of Bruce sitting there nodding to Alfred, completely shitting the bed. And no, fanboys, the fact that Nolan has one other movie with an ambiguous ending doesn't mean this one does. Famous billionaire Bruce Wayne is 100% there, in public in broad daylight despite pretending to be dead, having somehow gone to Al's favorite restaurant on the exact same day and time he'd be there, having somehow escaped a nuclear blast with 5 seconds to spare. Fuck. That. Bullshit. But yeah, speaking of actual ambiguous endings, Inception gets my vote. Yeah that's what I find laughable about the ending of TDKR. Especially in the first movie where Ras Al Ghul says to him in the prison, the world is too small for a man like Bruce Wayne to simply disappear. He doesn't even try to disguise himself with a new haircut or beard lol.
