Ironically, he only made the new Jay and Silent Bob movie because he couldn't make Clerks 3 (or Mallrats 2). I guess they're not even trying to hide who didn't want to come back anymore. I suppose that's why they're chucking the original script they had - it was repurposed to be a Jay and SB movie. So I'm not sure I should be looking forward to either. One is a Frankenstein's monster that went from Clerks to Mallrats to Jay and SB, the other is being written on the fly just because Anderson finally pulled the stick out of his ass. Yeah I'll be avoiding Jay & Silent Bob Reboot, but I'm willing to give Clerks III a shot. I thought Clerks II would be awful, and when I got around to watching it I thought it was much better than anticipated.
