"Videos of the incident went viral this week, after they were shared by conservative groups and figures calling the assault a leftist attack on students’ free speech. UC Berkeley has said, however, that neither the activist or the man suspected of punching him are students, and there is no indication the man is affiliated with any left-wing groups."

Of course, rightwing groups attempted to make hay of this, citing it as an example of widespread 'leftist violence' against cons. As usual, full examination of the story shows this up as, once more, an isolated incident, and an incident in which the participants showed no afilliation with supposed 'leftist' political groups.


James, we can do this crap all day if you have a mind to, but for your own sake I'd suggest you read the story beyond the headline if you don't want to keep showing yourself up as overly credulous and not very credible.
