Starring wonderfully wooden Jack La Rue as ruthless gangster Slim Grisson with lovely Linden Travers as the manipulative femme Miss Blandish, with a terrific supporting cast the film caused much controversy upon release for the portrayal of strong violence and sexual content, despite some cinemas banning screenings No Orchids became a huge commercial success...
