I really did not find dropping an 'L' (or ('T') in Sam's surname -- I don't recall which -- was significant to negate the answer. If I were to do that, players would quit in disgust. 'Skis' was a good joke, but the link was they were Anne's suitors. But they were all "smitten" with Anna Bronski, not Anne Bancroft. If you're going to be specific about the link, then be specific. Romy should've gotten the same tip I got from you about the connection not being quite right or needing to be more specific. It's particularly frustrating because I've played in plenty of your games where you gave the point to someone where they were way more off the mark than I was with my answer and you just said "close enough". You accept misspelled actors names and alternate answers other than what you specifically planned for so many times out of concern that players will "quit in disgust", but I'm not given the same leeway and I've run up against this same issue with you so many, many times, and you never, ever seem concerned I'll quit in disgust. (sigh) another day on the job for the 'ol QM
