It's been well over 578 days since this thread was made (931 to be exact), which means that the 'Rate Movies' section has been around significantly longer than Mark Whatney stayed on Mars (which was 578 earth days). It's even more than the longest cumultative time that anyone has ever been in space (879 days by Gennady Padalka). It's also more than 300 times longer than any real human has ever been on a celestial body other than the earth (74 hours during Apollo 17). So to celebrate these random statistics and since there hasn't been a post in this thread in a while, how would you rate 'The Martian'? I rewatched it a while ago and I was afraid it would be worse on a rewatch, but I still enjoyed it a lot and I'm sticking with my 8/10 rating.
