Maybe not as memorable as some of the above, but one of my favorite opening scenes of any film is that of Ghost World, in which Enid dances along to a catchy musical number from a Hindi movie. Because of that scene, I looked for the original source of the musical sequence and found Gumnaan (1965), a not-bad film loosely based on Agatha Christie's And Then There Were None.
