That seems like a nothing article, trying to make something more out of a tongue-in-cheek response than there probably actually is. It seems doubtful they would have tried to get Nicholas-fucking-Case to appear in a cameo for a CW event; especially since he never truly played Superman. Now, if they had hinted at being in contact with Dean Cain, that would seem more credible. I agree. I don't think Nicholas Cage will appear in the crossover event and Dean Cain makes the most sense in my opinion since he has already played Kara and Alex's Father in 'Supergirl' and we know he wants to play Superman again but it would be fun if Nicholas Cage did turn up 'cause it would be very unexpected and he is a big comic book fan.
