I really don't mind them in the WS.
Kind of like how I don't mind the Pats in the Super Bowl, Warriors in the NBA Finals, Pens/Blackhawks/Kings (they seem to have won a lot over the past 20 years in the NHL - or maybe I'm off).
Maybe because they're 'Iconic' - and they're one of the most hated (and most loved) franchises around?
Now if they make it would I be rooting for them?
No. I'd hope they gets smoked. But just them being there makes it watchable and interesting for me.
