I had been burned too many times by then (don't forget, 2003 was just the year before), so I was never truly confident. Until that prick Johnny Damon hit that grand slam off that bigger prick Kevin Brown in Game 7......then I knew. I just thought it was a tall order to win two in the Bronx. But they were in the Yankees head after Game 5 and a lot of that was Millar. You could see in in interviews. The Yankees were up 3-2, at home and looked beaten. Millar didn't just talk the talk, he walked the walked, literally. Dave Roberts stole the base that altered the galaxy but don't forget, he was pinch running for Millar, who worked out a walk against Mariano Rivera. And let's not forget, in the 9th inning of the epic Game 5, Millar had a key walk once again off of Rivera. Two walks against the greatest closer in history in two HUGE moments. Might be the highlight of Kevin Millar's career, but that ain't bad.
