GotG Vol.2 directed by James Gunn.
It is as fun as the first one. From the opening titles till the bitter end credit scene it is one hell of a ride. You keep laughing until your pants drop. But....
It is also a very emotional film. It explores the various relationships of Peter Quill in depth. And that isnt all fun and games. James Gunn did an excellent job with this and it gives the movie more content.
The main villain in this movie is one of Marvels better ones. He is menacing and a real threat to the cosmos. People who complain about Marvels weak villains will gain no further argument.
The music fits perfectly and the score is pretty awesome. Sometimes the action goes a bit fast for my older eyes (I did see it in 3D. That may have something to do with it) but overall its pretty awesome.
I would rate this movie a 9 out of 10. It is on par with the first one.
