But WHY is that better, in your opinion?
On the one hand I am all for diversity and inclusion. On the other hand what do I care if the person ends up directing something that sucks?
So I'm on the fence. Did they hire her because she was genuinely their best choice and she pitched a great take on the project? OR just because she was a woman? The one would be awesome, the other would be not enough.
