Bucky's call is art and majestically beautiful. It's short, simple and to the point - No, you are actually making a virtue of a lack of creativity. There is nothing great about "Phillies World Champions." Rather it is absurdly stupid in its obviousness. An announcer should provide more for a big moment than just what obviously happened. Let me ask you: if Al Michaels had said, "USA beats the Russians" you would have thought that was "art and majestically beautiful"? Absolutely. There's nothing worse than a commentator babbling over an iconic moment. This is not about 'them' - it is about the moment. We could see with our own eyes what just happened. Let us soak it in. Here is a prime example of an iconic moment ruined by incoherent babbling: Well - the NFL has taken away the rights for clips to be reposted; however if you visit YouTube and put in 'Merrill Reese's Call of the last two plays of Super Bowl LII - it's exactly what I'm talking about.
