After the Niners game ended, us lucky folks here on the West Coast were given bonus coverage of the last few minutes of the Giants/Arizona game.
I cannot accurately describe how stupid the Giants were in those few minutes. Down a field goal, with two timeouts and the 2-minute warning, they're facing 3rd and long. They run a draw play which does nothing but waste time, then instead of punting, they go for it on 4th and long. Jones then gets sacked and fumbles the ball away to Arizona, who eventually gets a field goal as the Giants have to use time outs to try to slow clock.
Okay, Giants get ball back on kickoff and the returner decides to run ball out of endzone. Of course, he runs backwards at some point, wastes more time, and gets tackled at around the 13 yard line. Of course, a couple of sacks later and game is over.
