Hi Again Hirundo. Have you been having a good week? Well, I am glad we don't have snakes that big here in New South Wales - well, at least I hope we don't
and it is a monster for sure and looks kinda like something you would see in a Horror movie with killer snakes and not in real life. It is amazing how big some snakes can get and did you know there are huge anacondas in some parts of the world that are so big they can eat people and I thought the 'Anaconda' movies were bunging it on with size but I have seen how big some of them can get and thankfully they aren't anywhere near us 'cause I have no idea what you would do if one of them came near you and I think running away as fast as possible would be the only option if you wanted to survive. I love Horror movies and have watched a lot of them over the years but I am not a huge fan of Horror movies with snakes, crocodiles and killer insects in them 'cause some of those could really happen and I doubt we will be seeing any monster sized spiders tearing up cities anytime soon like in 'Eight Legged Freaks'
but there are others that are more realistic and could possibly happen if you had enough of them in one place. Have you ever had any bad experiences with bats 'cause I know a person who went into a cave once and had bats chasing them out and they have been terrified of bats ever since and we have some bats in our trees here and they mostly come out in summer and they are pretty noisy some nights and we can hear them inside but they keep their distance from our house and they stay up in the trees and you can see them flying around from a distance. That picture you posted is pretty scary and very different than our flies and here the most dangerous fly is a March fly 'cause they bite and I haven't been bitten by one but have heard they hurt. I have heard we have some of the most deadly creatures in the world but it all depends on where you live and there are certain areas in Australia that are more dangerous than others and where Beccy and I live we mostly don't have to worry about things like that 'cause they don't live around here. Years ago we had some sightings of Yowies and somebody had one walk over their car and Yowies are like Bigfoot and I am not sure if I believe in the existence of those but I tend to keep an open mind and since they look like some of the Apes we had in the past they are more believable than some other things.
I don't usually go out of my way to kill bugs or spiders unless they are inside of our house or outside where they could come after our pets and do you have leeches in Norway 'cause we have them here and my Aunt got one on her foot when she went to have a shower at a place my Uncle and her stayed at years ago and my Uncle had to help her get it off and those are nasty. Strangely enough the most deadliest thing we have is not on land but in the sea and the Box Jellyfish is at the top of the list and it can kill you in seconds and the only jellyfish I have come across are bluebottles and they really sting if you step on them and you have to be careful on some of our beaches 'cause we can get a few bluebottles wash up on the sand and on the rocks. Technically it has never been proven if we have any black panthers or not but there have been a lot of sightings of them over the years and there is one town that has a statue of one 'cause the sightings are so common there and I have heard black panthers are extremely dangerous and will not hesitate to kill people and we had a lion escape from a zoo once but they thankfully got that before it hurt anybody. We don't have bears or wolves but we do have dingoes and they can be savage and there have been a lot of dingo attacks over the years and you might have heard of the band in 'Buffy' called Dingoes Ate My Baby (who were really Four Star Mary) and they were named after something that happened in the Northern Territory.
Tom Welling and Erica Durance returning as Clark Kent and Lois Lane in the 'Crisis On Infinite Earths' crossover is going to be fun to see and I think this might be the closest thing we will get to see to a 'Smallville' reunion but it is great they are doing it and Tom is actually going to wear the costume and a lot of fans have been waiting to see this. Aside from the two of them Justin Hartley has been rumoured to appear on some sites and hopefully that is true since they are having three versions of Superman. I think it could end up being four 'cause aside from 'Wonder Woman' being talked about to appear the 'Birds of Prey' TV Show's version of the Huntress is confirmed to be in the crossover and Ashley Scott is returning to play her and it looks like nearly every single past DC show is going to be represented in this which makes me think we are definitely going to get one or two actors from 'Lois and Clark.'

Hi, Deb.
The last couple of weeks have been pretty shit, actually. I caught a cold that doesn't seem to want to go away. I hate being sick and feeling like crap.
I wouldn't say I love horror movies, but I do enjoy watching a good one now and then.
I have a fear of creepy dolls, though, so I usually try to stay clear of movies with creepy dolls in them.

No, I've never had any bad experiences with bats. The bats we have here are pretty nice. We have a few bats living in the wall of our barn. They don't like it when I'm mowing the lawn underneath their nest, then I see them crawling out and flying off to wait somewhere more quiet until I've finished my lawnmowing.
Oh, eeew, I think I'd freak out a little if I looked down and saw a leech sitting on my foot.
Yes, we have some leeches here in Norway, but it's not that often that you see one. They're not that big either and thankfully their teeth are too small to bite through human skin, so while they're not the cutest-looking animal at least they're not a pest to anyone.
Hi Hirundo

Sorry for taking so long to reply to this post but I have been so busy lately I haven't had much time to write on the IMDB2 Boards outside of private messages and have been kinda overloaded with things and I am sorry to hear you are sick with the cold and I know from first hand experience how much that must suck for you right now 'cause I have been sick with the flu more times this year than I can remember and felt horrible when I had it
but the best thing I can suggest to you is getting some rest and do have Vicks Vapo Drops in Norway 'cause I find the Yellow Butter Menthol ones are very helpful and can clear your nose and throat when you are sick and Butter Menthols with the Honey Centre are good too. Another thing we have here is Dimetapp and Dimetapp tastes delicious and it is like Purple Grape Fanta and I remember when they brought out Purple Fanta here and I tried it I was like "OMG It is Dimetapp but it is a soft drink version of it"
and Dimitapp is one of the only things aside from Panadol Rapid that helps me sleep when I have a blocked nose or cough and a lot of other things I have had over the years haven't worked and have kept me awake more. Hopefully your cold is getting better now 'cause with Christmas coming up soon now is the worst time to get the flu. We are going to be doing some Christmas shopping this week and we have already started 'cause a number of our shops have Christmas things in them and the Christmas Warehouse is open too and we love going to that every year and they are the biggest Christmas shop in Australia and have a very wide variety of Christmas things including many that are difficult to get at other places and in a little over 3 weeks we will be getting our Christmas tree out and hanging all our decorations and lights up and we go to a lot of trouble to make our house look Christmasy and our neighbours like coming over and looking at everything when we are finished and as you have probably guessed Christmas is my favourite time of the year and the only problem is it never feels like it lasts long enough and before you know it everything is over and you have to pack it all up and wait for next year. What I love the most about Christmas though is having holidays with Beccy and getting to see all my cousins, Aunts, Uncles, Nieces and Nephew who come to the Cousin's Christmas party my Aunt and Uncle have every year and a lot of them we only see once or twice a year 'cause they live far away so it is always good to see them and see how much my other Nieces and Nephews have grown.
I grew up watching Horror movies and reading Horror novels so I am used to a lot of the scares in the genre and I tend to like the 80s Slasher and Horror Comedy movies the most but I like a whole range of the different sub genres and have read a lot of Horror superhero comic books over the years too like 'The Crow', 'Razor', 'Faust', 'Darkchylde', 'Spawn' etc and series like 'Witchblade', Vampirella, 'Red Sonja', 'Hack/Slash' and 'Monstress' are some of my favs and I was saying about Elsa Bloodstone being similar to 'Buffy' before but if you want to read something similar which is a bit more violent and edgy I would totally recommend 'Hack/Slash' and Cassie Hack is an awesome character and Cassie and her friend Vlad who looks like Jason Vorhees go around fighting a lot of monsters including some famous ones from Horror movies and it is one of my favourite comic book series of all time and I am hoping we get a movie or a TV Series of it made one day 'cause I think it could be very successful on screen and Horror fans will love it. I can't blame you for being scared of creepy dolls and I saw a few creepy dolls when I was younger that made me feel uncomfortable and have friends with a fear of them
but I am used to the 'Child's Play' movies and I love the 'Puppet Master' franchise.Leeches are gross and I have been lucky not to have any bad experiences with them like my Aunt did and there is another type of slug that looks similar to a leech but isn't one and I remember seeing one of them years ago and thinking it was a leech and it was still very creepy looking whatever my Uncle said it was and I was just saying about snakes to you not long ago and we have a giant Boa constrictor on the loose and they were warning people to be careful of it and watch their pets on the news not long ago and I am hoping it doesn't come here 'cause they are terrifying and they showed the size of its skin and I think it can eat pets.
