Drew Bledsoe once broke his finger during a 4th qtr drive against Miami. He stayed in the game and threw the winning TD pass. He joked afterward that he didn't want to come out of the game because he was afraid his backup (Scott Zolak at the time) would play well and he'd never get his job back.
