so basically... I would say 'Yes'. but don't attempt to contact them etc which is forbidden. but assuming it's nothing demonic... you can pray for them as it could be a soul still in Purgatory needing our prayers etc.
have I ever personally seen or heard anything of the sort? ; No, pretty much. but one of my cousins had some incidents in their former house not all that long ago (I personally never noticed anything when I was over there here and there over the years though) involving one of their children and eventually got a priest involved.
