I mean, he was pushing 70 by the 90s, so I'm not sure how physical his role really could have gotten. There is a comic that ties up Halloween 2 up to H20 and one of the last scenes featuring Michael and Loomis was with Loomis in his deathbed in the hospital and Michael had abducted his wife and tortured her and left her for dead in front of Loomis tied up in a chair just to taunt him. Loomis goad Michael that he'd never find Laurie (because she moved and changed her identity). Loomis tries to save his wife but sees that Michael carved the name Keri Tate on the back of his wife and he realized Michael always knew that Laurie faked her death and ends up going into cardiac arrest. If something like that was filmed for the prologue of H20, it would be a nice closure to him and Michael's rivalry. Oh my God, that comic sounds terrible. What's the name of it and where can I find it?! there are docs on youtube talking about the making of H4 and H5 and how Donalds role in both films had to be reduced slightly as he was a much older man and tired easily during filming, I just always wonder what if he were still alive I think he would've definitely appeared in both H20 and possibly Resurrection even if only for a small cameo. but those would've probably been his last
