If Blade isn't R it'll be a crap shoot. I feel Blade was ahead of its time great. R rated movie and on it's own. Even the blade tv show with Sticky Fingaz was MA. As i said in the first post there is no reason they can't make an R rated movie. Joker should put any concerns to rest about r rated movies not being good and succeeding. The more mature marvel proprietes should get MA ratings or be like the Joker and make a new canon for r rated movies and shows It has already happened with the television properties, an R rated movie is at the moment open to consideration but other than Blade(Whose past cinematic ventures were strictly intended for 18 and older) no upcoming or in development movie sounds like they need an R rating. Marvel does not operate like DC where they fully embrace the concept of multiple continuities and do not care if several actors play the same character at once. Whenever they do multiverses in stories it is not an often occurrence, new canons are less established for storytelling purposes and mostly because of brand separation, especially if another company is adapting a property of theirs for film or television. No way would a solo Iron Man movie not starring RDJ and not set in the MCU which ignores all prior cinematic ventures fly in the House of Ideas or to their overlord Mickey Mouse. Warner Bros. and DC though? No problem, they see little issue with having three Batmans on screen at once, or two Jokers or two Cyborgs or four Supermans.
