The only thing that would be hard to do is the meshing with the rest of the charcters in the universe. The main selling point, the brand, and what's well known about the MCU is the massive crossovers. How each character could show up in any movie. Now every universe has a dark underbelly, so that's not the problem. The problem would be having that character and part of the world interacting with the rest of the MCU. The easiest solution would be not having Punisher or Blade (the two easiest to go rated R) to interact with the rest of the universe and people. Which kinda sucks though. The only other hurdle would be the Brand is pretty well known for being for all ages. They will have to make damned sure in the trailers that this movie isn't for all. If characters like Blade and Punisher aren't gonna interact with the rest of the mcu then thats even more reason to make a new r rated canon even include Deadpool since he can go anywhere he wants Given that Kevin Feige is now in charge of Marvel television the chances of crossover with the more R-rated characters are stronger than before, you may even see Frank Castle in the Thunderbolts movie - Bernthal is game for another appearance, as is Charlie Cox as Daredevil.
