If Blade isn't R it'll be a crap shoot. I think the tone is more important than including any elements that would make it an R-rating - gore, swearing, smoking, explicit torture or taking drugs. Bourne & later Bond films managed without R-Ratings. Personally I'd be more pissed off if he wasn't British (which he probably won't be again) than any rating I take no notice of and would probaby not be the same in the country I am in. You read Blade books? They got gore and that stuff why change it? Especially with Joker's success there is literally no excuse for Blade not to be r rated
