The only time that happened to me was in the parking garage at work. I didn't recognize the car. It was a TV/Radio station, so it probably belonged to someone who was visiting.
That car was a Honda Prelude, with a sun roof. I went in on the passenger side, and opened the roof to give me more room to crawl over the console. Some colleagues laughed at me popping up out of the top of my car. I had to laugh, too ... which would probably have saved the life of the driver, had he/she shown up during the ordeal.
Now, I have a Toyota Corolla, with no sun roof. I hope it never happens again.
