Alien, I mean.........just look at that cinematography....it's gorgeous. also the characters felt more like people, rather than characters. The issue I have with Alien-79', is that don't really like the characters, with the exception of Ripley. I thought Veronica Cartwright also acted well as Lambert, with the her in the moment fear she was skillfully able to project, and there are some top names in the cast, just that I find them unlikable and even bland. Aliens-86' characters were marines and larger than life, but they tended to have more on-screen charisma, charm and personality to them. |
