Why would you keep watching if either you didn't like it the first time or if it's getting worse with repeated viewings? Loads of reasons. Wife and/or kids watch a particular dvd regularly . A film you loved as a younger person you revisit. You work in a cinema . You're in the movie. You are a prisoner at Guantanamo bay and tied up tortured by being forced and to watch Big Momma's House 2, Eastenders and forced to listen to Kanye West. In my case, sometimes I marathon franchises, which means watching the weaker installments too. One that immediately comes to mind is The Phantom Menace. Loved it as a kid. As a preteen, I liked it, but started seeing flaws. Really started seeing flaws when they were pointed out to me as a teenager. The last time I saw it, the 3D rerelease, I was simply bored out of my mind.
