Yeah, I give it a 6, but I enjoyed it slightly more than the original. Now I sincerely adore the original. It's a cheese classic. When the snake isn't swallowing people whole or vomiting up monkeys you still got Jon Voight playing a South American like a French Marlon Brando; Jennifer Lopez and Kari Wuhrer's sweet ass; Jonathan Hyde cracking me up with his stiff Brit bit. It's like Heart of Darkness written by a crackhead. Yeah it’s a silly ass movie, but is enjoyable. I give both the same rating. I guess I like the second more because the snake(s) felt more like a threat, whereas in 1 Jon Voight was pretty much the main villain. I don’t mind him at all, but he didn’t really belong in that movie.
