Ruby Rose

She's a terrible actress from what I have seen of her, I don't find her all that attractive either, she's very wooden on the show and not in a stoic way but as in she's just meh.

I do agree the hate she got after she got announced in the role is bullshit, how is a woman who has been LGBTQ+ since she was old enough to know what that even meant not "gay" enough for the role of a gay superhero?

Though I think her casting was very stunt heavy, she didn't get it due to her talent imo, I feel like if she were straight I she would not have gotten the role, and the show itself did a piss poor job selling her to me as Batwoman, felt more like they were trying to sell people on the idea that Batwoman is a cause to rally around, and not a show worth watching for it's actual merits.

That being said I think Stephen Amell wasn't exactly the best actor when he started on Arrow, but they gave him a great supporting cast to work with and two separate character profiles to portray, he got a lot better very quick and has been killing it as a performer and not just as a guy who looks right in a supersuit for the better part of a decade now because of it, so hopefully Ruby Rose will also grow into her role.
