It's all bs. I for one hope the premise of global time takes hold - i.e. midnight in UK is midnight in NYC is midnight in Tokyo. That would probably take a couple years to get used to, the sun rising at 11am EST would be weird for all those of us over the age of 4, for a while. I mentioned that to a friend & they said it wasn't possible lols… yeah it is, it's all f'n arbitrary as it is. Time is the measure of Earth around the Sun, but that doesn't mean Australia goes around the Sun a day earlier than Quebec does it?? What would be the advantage of that? Instead of remembering that the local time in the West Coast is three hours behind my local time, I would have to remember that their normal working hours are from 5PM Universal Time to 2AM.
