Michael Beck was good as the lead in Alcatraz the Whole Shocking Story.
The Cynic, the Rat and the Fist 1976 - John Saxon and Tomas Milian are rival crime lords being pitted against each other by a vengeful "bleached blonde" cop Maurizio Merli.
Hero's Island 1962 - James Mason, Rip Torn, Warren Oates --about a family of indentured workers who are granted ownership of an island but run into a gang that claims it is belongs to them. Violence results and when a mysterious stranger appears tied to a raft, they find a reluctant ally. More of a drama than an action film--the story reveals harsh living conditions for poor people in the 18th century.
Hercules vs the Moon Men 1964 - Alan Steel is not a peplum favorite but he has a lot to do here-fighting monsters, giant rock men, and aliens. Especially amusing moment when he empties a drinking cup so the evil queen doesn't see. Superhero movies should study these kinds of films--who wants to watch a strongman story where the hero sits around telling jokes or discussing his frailties? The only dead weight in the story is a ridiculous scene with a sandstorm that goes on forever. Otherwise, it's decent action man adventure for the budget.
