Secret Life of Walter Mitty (1947). Danny Kaye as the dreamer who fantasies about being lots of different people - particularly hilarious when he is being a hat designer. Gets involved with spies, but the plot doesn't really matter, the hilarious daydream sequences are the best bits.
Knock On Wood (1953). Danny Kaye as a ventriloquist who has secret plans hidden in his dummy (unknown to him) and ends up being chased all over London by spies. Very amusing.
