ot: what's the deal with weddings?

I've been to enough weddings to last a lifetime. I've been to two weddings in one day for Christ's sake. If nobody ever invites to a another wedding, I'll be happy. I've blocked my own wedding out of my mind. I can tell you more about most of the weddings I've been to than I can tell you about my own-- and I'm still happily married. The whole ordeal is entirely unnecessary.
