That could be why Rogers was such a selfish asshole who was willing to put his fellow soldiers at risk on the battlefield. Because Rogers probably felt that he got dealt a bad hand, with his severe health problems. So Rogers didn't give a shit that his fellow soldiers would have to risk their lives to fight his battles on the battlefield. he could have served as an administrative assistant, as an orderly, or an aide of some kind, Steve I doubt expected to be judged as prime combat material but then a lot of service personnel aren't, that's why the armed services have a multitude of roles for all manner of people to fill, but you in your myopic stupor of hate and idiocy seem to forget this it seems.
Rogers was rejected from the Army after he failed his physical. Administrative assistants, orderlies, and other aides don't need to pass a physical to get into the Army. Only soldiers in combat need to pass a physical to get into the Army. Rogers was trying to enlist to go into combat. That's why he had to pass a physical to get into the Army. It was extremely selfish for Rogers to want to do that since he couldn't even fight for himself and needed Bucky to step in and save him so he would be a liability on the battlefield and would put his fellow soldiers at risk since his fellow soldiers would not only have to fight their own battles but also fight Rogers' battles.
