I suppose it had to happen eventually, but after purchasing about 160 CDs by mail order over the last decade, I finally got a delivery that was so mangled that the disc itself took damage.
The jewel case was cracked front and back in several places. Even the tray that holds the CD in place was cracked. And one of the jewel case corners was almost crushed.
I took the damaged package to a UPS Store for the return, and the woman behind the counter said "CDs" in a way that made it sound like I was returning stone knives and bearskins.
