I hope a team signs him, it isn’t right how he’s been blackballed. While he isn’t good enough to be a starter, he’s better than a lot of backups in the league right now. I was going to post about this yesterday but then I thought hang on I don't know anything about American Football! But I don't know, it is interesting... So, my question is - Could this really be true? I've obviously read about his case and know that he hasn't played for nearly 3 years and is now 32! Could he really walk back into a team and be a better squad option than some guy who's be playing or a young draft dude waiting for his shot? Is the player pool that small? Like I said, don't really know much detail re American Football but, comparing with football, I really can't think it'd be possible a guy who hadn't played for 2/3 seasons and was 32 would have much chance of getting signed by anyone bar a hugely desperate lower league side, certainly not a top division outfit. Unless that was he'd been an absolutely incredible top drawer player. But then was that the case with Kaepernick? I mean there have been cases of top football players screwing up badly but there'd be no pact possible that could stop them getting signed by another club (without any time gap) - especially if the opportunity to get a world class player on the cheap was possible.
