What are you expectations?
I expect a pretty entertaining movie but nothing that will have me creaming my jeans. I was thinking earlier today The Mandalorian could take the wind out of its sails as it is forging a pretty decent path with only two episodes in. Also expecting the usual bitching that comes along with any new Star Wars movie.

Well the Disney "STAR WARS" Haters definitely want to see "THE RISE OF SKYWALKER" fail and I do now have to concede that I think that that may actually happen (especially with all of the stories and rumors coming out about the movie).
You are right, at least in my case. I want it to fail because I am sick of this cast and this storyline. I want a Star Wars with better actors and writers.
This current cast sucks. The only redeeming quality is the actress who plays the female Luke Skywalker is attractive.
That is it.
Sure, the effects will be the best money can buy because that's what most want to see.
I want to see stories and characters I can care about on some level.
The original cast achieved that. The prequels? Not really. Again, Portman was nice to look at but not good at all in the role.
Ewan McGregor was the sole bright spot there.
