Some years ago I was having a picnic in a large park. One or two squirrels appeared and I dropped a couple of grapes for them. I was somewhat taken aback when I noticed the squirrels peeling the grapes and discarding the skin and tucking into the bared fruit. I'm laughing my head off. I'm not sure why some squirrels don't eat the skin of grapes - it's just a wonderful quirk of nature, I suppose. I know that certain nuts can cause calcium loss in them but grapes without their skins? The video below is similar to what I saw that day.
