It has a good message and the firefighter scenes are well done but the acting, dialogue and some character choices were pretty amateurish. Basically I like the scenes with the firefighters but everything around the marriage didn’t do it for me. I guess by Kirk Cameron standards it’s pretty good. This is the first KC movie I watched BTW. And I only watched it because it was for class. I didnt care for it because I think it got too preachy but its definitely not the worst faith film I seen. I thought it was so weird how Kirk wanted to talk to his dad about his marriage but his dad just pushed religion on him. If you really want batshit crazy see Kirk Cameron's Saving Christmas. Its one of the best bad movies ever like The Room or Birdemic. I know about that one. Not sure if I would want to see it though. |
