To Kill a Mockingbird (1962)

I also watched this most memorable yet progressive film for it's time

a few nights ago on the channel TCM ( Turner Classic Movies )

and no matter how old this movie is it just gets better with age ( IMPO )

Also read the book in high school back in the day too

and just could not put it down

it was a real page turner indeed

I will admit it's a real heartbreaking storyline

but it's definitely an historical one we will never forget either

( IMPO - it seems to be a storyline that we can all learn from as well )

Thanks mszanadu. I couldn't convincingly pick out what those progressive elements were. Also, before watching it, I had the notion the movie was in colour.
