I've become pretty tone deaf to movies over time but I enjoyed The Grinch more than I expected. I didn't have high expectations. The character designs are lazy and smoothed out, the plot is rather simple and the voices aren't all that distinctive but I enjoyed it more than I expected. It's a definite two or three steps up from The Lorax. What I like about the movie is how it explores the Grinch tries to recruit real reindeer and come up with a more cohesive plan to take away all the presents. Also, I like the design of the town and all. There are a few other things that I like about it but I don't want to give plot spoilers.
