I don't remember the last time I just went out to go to McDonald's, just to get their food... I rarely "crave" their food that much... When I get McDonald's it is usually when I have been out grocery shopping, or running other errands... I usually have to go to two stores, Walmart & Kroger, to get all the items that I usually shop for, since neither store carries everything on my shopping "list"... But, after spending about two to three hours, Driving - walking around two stores (Shopping and paying for it all) - Driving - and Unloading the car... I'm usually too tired to want to really "cook" anything, and I certainly don't want to spend 12 more minutes of my time that day, doing anything like what klawrencio79 suggests: Thankfully, there is a McDonald's between the two stores... And sometimes I'll pick up some food from them, while I am out, and passing by the restaurant... and then I'll dig in to it, after I am done putting the groceries away. Quick & Easy meal. Though, I will admit, I don't always make a stop at McDonald's... There are a few other fast food places along the way too, but they are more expensive and/or it takes longer to get the food through their "Fast" drive-thrus... But, I may not want to spend more money or make that effort, just to get something else... So compared to those other places, for me, McDonald's is the fastest and cheapest option, just to eat "something", when I get home from being out all day. And it still usually tastes good... LOL! However, I will sometimes just pick up a cooked roasted chicken from the store, or throw a TV Dinner in the Microwave... Anything simple where I can just sit down and eat it when I'm done putting the groceries away. OK, Yeah, I'm sure none of... All Of That... would be considered "Healthy" eating... But hey, I did just get a bunch of exercise, BEFORE I ate it... LOL! And, as I said, I don't go out, just to get McDonald's... So, give me a break with getting it, occasionally...
