Checking to see if Japanese people like root beer

Well the ones they show in the video, but it's probably generally true. I was in Japan in the 80s and they were always getting us to try stuff and laughing when we didn't like it. One day in the chow hall the US commander made us swap trays with our jap counterpart, the american food that grossed them out the most was salad with dressing, they hated it, especially the ranch. One night the japs got us drunk and started ordering raw pub food to see if we would throw up. Good folks though, we had a blast and so did they. People are mostly the same everywhere.
