True but I can see the point of the OP. Jawas aren't known for their ability of space travel but a case can be made that a bunch of them hitched a ride to Arvala-7. The real question would be, how would they have gotten a sandcrawler there?

I think Sandcrawlers are old tech that was used to haul droids during manufacturing during the clone wars.

That was one of the dumb things about Phantom Menace as the ships carrying droids was fancier.
