I love the classics, but I never understood the love for the original. Once you learn that it was all set up by price’s character it’s not scary anymore. It’s not a bad movie, but I just am not a fan of it.
Now the remake on the other hand. The remake is one of those remakes that improves TONS on the original. The remake was actually pretty scary and tense most of the time. The characters are fun to watch for the most part and I really enjoyed Geoffrey’s Vincent price impersonation. The setting of an asylum was also very smart!!! Those places are just creepy in general.
It’s a shame that the remake doesen’t get the attention it deserves. I love it!!! Which version is your favorite and why?
