With a shocking result at home to Norwich, Marco Silva is way odds on to be next to go and it's by virtue of the Merseyside Boardroom being more trigger happy with their P45s than their fellow strugglers down in North London that Unai Emery is a big 5/1 to see his head cut off next. Asked after the game if he thought he still had the backing of the Arsenal board he said he believed he had (but he had to say that) That's fine and somehow he seems safe at the moment - it's when he actually gets the board's backing publicly that he has to worry. The dreaded vote of confidence has lured many a manager into the trap of false security, although we have seen recently that Poch didn't even get that well known bare faced lie before he was unceremoniously removed to make way for the Mourinho Circus.
Pellegrini must surely be taking one or two Xanax with his Ovaltine as his West Ham shower stumbled to their 5th defeat in six games v Mourinho's Circus despite a late brace of goals that ultimately counted for little. Sad looking bloke he is. He's always got that world-weary look about him. But don't feel too sorry for him - the guy's on £10m a year plus bonuses to ensure the churning out of this sh*t week in week out.
Daniel Farke's Norwich lifted themselves off bottom spot with that win at Everton but are still in the sh*t zone at 18th with Villa a point ahead of them. That gap could be four points if Villa can see off Newcastle on Monday.
Silva - 1/3
Emery 5/1
Pellegrini 8/1
Flores 12/1
Hasenhuttl 12/1
Solskjaer 16/1
Farke 25/1
Bruce 33/1
40/1 BAR
