The original isn't particularly good though as Price or Castle movies go.

The best anecdote I heard about it was Price said he liked to sneak into movie theaters and creep behind people, "preferably two young girls," and after a spooky moment he would thrust his head between them and say: "wasn't that scary?"
I think people had to have been made of sterner stuff not to get a heart attack from that.

The movie with Zeta Jones you’re thinking of is The Haunting which was also a remake. Two totally different movies though.

Also in my opinion most Castle movies weren’t. They were always very poorly made I thought. The only thing they had going for them at the time was Vincent Price.
