House on Haunted Hill which version is better to you?

I don't think I have seen the 1999 version. If I did it left no impression. Strange, I thought Catherine Zeta-Jones was in it. Famke Janssen eh? I am sure I would have remembered it.

The original isn't particularly good though as Price or Castle movies go.

The best anecdote I heard about it was Price said he liked to sneak into movie theaters and creep behind people, "preferably two young girls," and after a spooky moment he would thrust his head between them and say: "wasn't that scary?"
I think people had to have been made of sterner stuff not to get a heart attack from that.
