George Strait - Merry Christmas Strait To You
Normally, I wouldn't buy Christmas music CDs because I wouldn't be listening to them all year round. But, at the time, cassettes were still a thing.
Working music retail, I bought the CD on a whim. I absolutely LOVED it!
Someone else must have loved it because when I was working, I had it playing in the store. My mother sold it on me! LOL
No matter - I ended up buying it again.
As well, I ended up getting "20th Century Masters", which featured new Christmas songs by George.
Hilary Duff - Santa Claus Lane
The CD was released just as she was making a name for herself as Lizzie McGuire. Of course, after immediately falling in love with her, I had to hear her singing voice. I was impressed! I LOVE the title track. It was released in 2002. The next year, she re-released it - with one new track.
I couldn't find the re-release over here (Canada), so I had to go to the States to get it.
