No, they are performers who happen to have very athletic physiques.

Athletes "compete" against each other, trying to "win".

Performers follow a script, whereby they are not competing, and one performer will pretend to win, the other lose.

It's like saying Chris Evans won Avengers:Endgame, or Adam Sandler was the best athlete in The Waterboy, or Shakespeare is my favourite sport.....
