The Captain America movies aren't anything like the Guardians of the Galaxy movies. Ant-man was nothing like Black Panther.
Endgame was move different than Avengers than Spider-man 3 was with Spider-man or The Dark Knight Rises was with Batman Begins.
The colour is there in excess to appeal to children and sell merchandise from lunch boxes to stuffed toys.
But what's that what they're aimed for. They're meant to appeal to children just like Star Wars and Jurassic Park. They're meant to be colourful and sell merchandise.
This is a sensible transition from comic book to on screen
But that movie was trash, Thor Ragnarok wasn't.
