"I dont necessarily fully agree with that but he obviously cares...
He doesnt need a solid filmography for his opinion to carry any more weight. Its a domino effect after the first person decided to publicy out MCU movies and others had the courage to step forward. You can bet that more and more people will say the same thing in the next few months."
He doesn't need one but it would help. He made 2 films, the latter of which was poorly received, and now we're watching him flame out. I meant it when I said I feel for him, but this is not professional behavior. A better filmography would help because it's not good form to badmouth your peers and contemporaries. If one is so inclined to choose that path, they better be worth their weight in gold if they ever want to be hired again.
Most people know when to keep quiet if it means greasing the wheels for future prospects. Take any work environment. Movie set, restaurant, you name it. Most people have the good sense to wait till they get home before they talk trash. His behavior tells me it's only a matter of time before he turns on the product. He has a bad attitude. He probably deleted his account to delete the evidence. It would be a smart end to a bad decision, but deleting it also deletes any evidence of courage. What courage? My chef would make him cry half an hour. He did 2 films in 4 years and all but retired himself because the internet told him one of his films sucked.
When you have clout, allies and a history worth hiring, you can take more liberties. Natalie Portman can threaten to walk away from Marvel because they fired her friend Patty Jenkins. The fact she returned not withstanding, she can afford to walk away on principle. He can't.
I agree with you on one thing. He does seem to care. He's probably pissed because he cares so much and all anybody sees is Chronicle and Fant4stic. I'm not a mind-reader. All I know is when he badmouths someone else's work, he dares me to ask what's he done that's any better? The answer's nothing. I see people flame out in kitchens all the time. They think they know better than the chef or the industry, then they're out on their ass crying that no one understands their genius. I'm getting sick of these brats who want the recognition without the work.
